Centre for Arabic Teaching, Training & Research (CATTR)
Under the supervision of the Department of Arabic, inauguration of a center named “Centre for Arabic Teaching, Training and Research (CATTR)” was approved in Syndicate meeting on 21/07/2016 by the proposal of the academic committee and in accordance with the recommendation of the Dean’s committee. The purpose of this center is to conduct different Arabic language courses to teach essential spoken Arabic to those professionals who are willing to go to the Middle East for their career, for instance, teachers, doctors, engineers and nurses. This center also offers Advanced Arabic language courses in order to enhance the efficiency of the teachers of Arabic language in other institutions. The Centre is now working in full swing and a certificate course in Basic Arabic has been launched for the learners.
